At Chick-fil-A in Athens,

one of our greatest desires is to be a “World-Class Employer”

while providing jobs that meet the needs of God’s children and creating a positive atmosphere for people to work in and be influenced. We have assembled a world-class team of leaders who continuously improve themselves and our organization and it all starts with their development!

Business Plan Development
Propel Development Program
The Chick-fil-A Beechwood & Barnett Shoals Propel Development Program begins by building a solid foundation of strong self-awareness, Chick-fil-A Core Values and deep understanding of the Chick-fil-A business from which we build the best and brightest culture of leadership development for tomorrow’s Chick-fil-A restaurants. We firmly believe in learning to lead yourself before learning to lead others and learning to lead others before learning to lead our business. From this philosophy, we have created a five-step process for developing not just strong managers but an abundant harvest of continuously-improving leaders.
Chick-fil-A Plus Experiences
Chick-fil-A Plus Consists of “Outside the Restaurant” Experiences which are intended to provide a fresh new perspective on Chick-fil-A, management and leadership. CFA Plus experiences include trips to the Chick-fil-A Support Center in Atlanta, Chick-fil-A Support Center Backstage Tour, leadership conferences, Chick-fil-A, Inc. workshops, Chick-fil-A Grand Openings, trips to visit other Chick-fil-A restaurants and other team building exercises. We craft these experiences for our Team Members based upon his or her needs and interests in our restaurants and for his or her future.
Raving Fan Team Members
Part of our mission is to create not just Raving Fans in our guests but to create Raving Fan Team Members as well. We consider Raving Fan Team Members to be team members who consider his or her job to be measurable and relevant and team members who feel seen, heard and validated in the workplace.
Wheel of Impact
We consider our organization to be not just a business but, in a lot of ways, a ministry in which we are able to provide jobs, give generously to our community and have a positive influence on all who come into contact with Chick-fil-A. We call this our Wheel of Impact.
Organizational Playbook
Stephen Covey says to begin with the end in mind, and we believe that philosophy is powerful. We have designed Organizational Playbooks for our business as a whole and within each sector of our Auxiliary Roles (Marketing, Catering, Development, Training and Human Resources). See how our vision, mission and values influence our short-term and long-term goals to create a culture of winning.
